I don't know what I can save you from

by Kings of Convenience (acoustic original version)
tabbed by

i posted a previous tab that i later learned was tabbed out in a key that was a half
step to low. I raised the key to E, easier to sing with that's for sure some of the
patterns may be off a bit but since the key is right it will sound good if you are a
bit more inclined in music theory which you may have to be to play this song, you can
compliment this nicely with some solid soloing in C# minor pentatonic
anyway, great song from an amazing band

tuning:standard EADGBe

chords

E- x79997 or play just the E5- x799xx
C#min - x46654
B - 799877
A- 577655
F#min- 244222 or x-9-11-11-10-9(Amin shape bar 9th fret)
G#min7 464444

* the C#m could be a C#m7, makes the song a bit happier- x46454

this song can also be played with a capo on the 2nd fret and play the main riff with these shapes
D - Bmin - A - G

Main riff: E, C#min, B, A

E C#min
You called me after midnight
		     B A
Must have been three years since we last spoke
E C#min
I slowly tried to bring back
		   B A
The image of your face from the memories so old

E C#min
I tried so hard to follow
		     B A
But didn't catch the half of what had gone wrong
E C#min B A
Said "I don't know what I can save you from"
E C#min B A B
I don't know what I can save you from

E C#min B
I asked you to come over, and within half an hour
	       A
You were at my door
E C#min
I had never really known you
	B A
But I realized that the one you were before
E C#min
Had changed into somebody for whom
	   B F#min
I wouldn't mind to put the kettle on
B F#m A G#min7
Still I don't know what I can save you from
Bb Fm A G#min7
I don't know what I can save you from
E C#min7 B	A
I don't know what I can save you from
I don't know what I can save you from
I don't know what I can save you from
I don't know what I can save you from
